Effective at ultra-low loading rates: 0.5–2 parts of defoamer per 100 parts foaming medium suppresses most foam formation. Start trial runs at an elevated initial dosage (equivalent to 50 ppm active silicone), then reduce loading to identify the minimum dosage sustaining persistent foam control.

Dispensing Procedures

For reliable foam suppression, achieve full uniform dispersion inside the foaming medium following the steps below:

Agitate product thoroughly prior to each usage

Pre-dilute the defoamer with 3–10 parts compatible thinner to facilitate dispersion: introduce defoamer gradually under mild agitation. Deploy pre-diluted mixtures promptly after preparation. For solvent-based systems, pre-disperse inside kerosene, amyl acetate, 2-ethylhexanol, Stoddard solvent, toluene and comparable solvent media.
